Slide gate
A slide gate is a device that is applied to control the discharge of bulk material out of the equipment: hoppers, tanks, silos, or conveyors... A slide gate consists of a rigid frame with an inside slide valve that can be closed or opened according to the flow of material. The vane can be controlled (opened or closed) by means manual, pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic...
The slide gate is powered by frictionless rollers to allow easy actuation. The sliding gate assembly uses screw caps on both top and bottom to create a dust-tight enclosure in the meanwhile they allow also for easy operation, removal, maintenance, and servicing.
Usual types of slide valve
