Application of wind distribution technology in the cooling dring system
OVERVIEW
- The freeze-drying system is a convection drying system with a circulating drying agent
- In the convection drying method, the speed of the drying agent affects the drying time.
- The evaporation of water from the surface of the material will be, resulting in a reduced drying time.
- The distribution fan system helps the drying agent to contact the material evenly and at the same time adjusts the speed of the drying agent to optimize the drying time for each product.
THE DRY AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM CONSISTS OF
- Circulation fan, distribution fan, and air supply fan.
- Wind diagram: Air with high humidity from the drying chamber divides a small part that recirculates directly to the drying chamber. The rest air passes through the primary cooling CDU1 and through the rotor to separate moisture, and back to the drying chamber to raise the heat. The process of circulating drying air will be carried out in a closed environment until the product moisture is satisfactory.
- The temperature and humidity in the drying chamber are controlled by a sensor.

DRY WIND TREATMENT SYSTEM
- Application of the dehumidifying rotor to treat the drying wind.
- Working principle: The air containing moisture from the drying chamber, after being cooled to the dew point temperature, is blown through the rotor to dehumidify. In the rotor, the silica gel desiccant absorbs the moisture in the drying wind. To reconstitute Silica gel, hot air at about 1200C is blwed into part of the rotor (usually ¼ rotor). The hot air stream will take the steam from the dehumidifying rotor and blow it out. At the same time, it heats the drying wind when returns to the drying chamber.
